Work / A century of Takaful
A century of Takaful.
A timeline animation for Qatar Islamic Insurance Company — decades of takaful history told through consistent character design, so the continuity of style mirrors the continuity of service.
· Overview
The brief
QIIC's selling point is how long it's been serving the market. That's also the hardest thing to animate without boring the viewer.
We built a vignette-by-vignette timeline with one consistent illustrative style and one returning visual motif, so every decade feels like the same story, told a little further along.

How we worked
01 — Style = continuity
One illustration system carries every decade.
02 — Vignette structure
Each era gets one frame, one moment, one person, one service.
03 — No dates on screen
Dates narrated, not captioned — keeps the film visually uncluttered.
04 — Branch-TV ready
Master + silent branch-loop cut + social edits.
· Design system
